TRIATHLON COMPLETE: SADDLE, SAND, SEA!

Hi everyone,

So hopefully if you've been following that little red dot and/or social media, you'll have quickly spotted that Paddy & Seamus have officially made it to English Harbour in Antigua - hooray! They were met by friends & family at 10.31am this morning, and we couldn't be more proud.

We still can't quite believe that they managed to row 3000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean, competing with 40ft waves, massive swells, a shark or two, unbearable heat, sores and blisters, to name a few. And all of this in an impressive time of 38 days, 22 hours and 31 minutes. With fours years of planning these boys have now completed three of the toughest races on earth: Race Across Europe, Marathon Des Sables & now the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge. The most epic feat imaginable!

It's been quite the journey (please do read the most recent blog post if you haven't already, as it provides a pretty raw and emotional account of what they've been going through!) But we're just thrilled they made it back in one piece (race organisers warn that you burn around 8,000 calories a day, and lose approximately 20% of your body weight!)

But for now...let's celebrate the amazing work Paddy & Seamus have achieved for two incredible charities - The Prostate Project & Shooting Star Chase. And if you haven't already (or even if you have), please don't forget to keep giving generously: https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/Team/SaddleSandSea

I'll raise a glass to that! #SaddleSandSea
